Design of Hibiya Public Hall (2)

Stage at Hibiya Public Hall

Musicians, cultural figures, politicians, scientists… The stage of the public hall, where many people stood, remained the very front stage of Japanese culture.

At the top and bottom of the stage are reliefs of two people who contributed to the construction of the public hall.

On the top side is Zenjiro Yasuda, who decided to donate 3.5 million yen, and on the bottom side is Shimpei Goto, who realized the plan.
