NHK Programs and the Public Hall

Until the construction of NHK Hall, the public hall served as the basis for the NHK Symphony Orchestra. Speaking of NHK, the public hall was frequently used for radio and television broadcasts, as the NHK Kaikan was located very close to the public hall until it was moved to its current location in Jinnan, Shibuya-ku, Tokyo. These include “Zenkoku Nodo Jiman Competition,” “Evening for Farmers,” “Broadcast Debate,” “Talking Spring,” “Tonchi Class,” “Kohaku Uta Gassen,” and many other programs that have entertained many fans.
